My writing journey began in high school, long, long ago, in a galaxy not at all far away.

School introduced me to science and history, and that fascination continues to this day. The best way I can express that fascination is through stories that allow my imagination to explore those disciplines and take them to unexpected places.

Later in life, I discovered psychology, philosophy, religion, and spiritual practices, and I incorporated what I learned about them into my stories.

I don't like being confined to a single genre. Each story decides what it wants to become. The common thread running through all my writing is the desire to understand what it means to become a better person, one small step at a time.

I write character-driven, cinematic thrillers with restrained prose, strong dialogue, and steadily escalating tension, where action and relationships reveal character more than internal narration. I don’t imagine words; I imagine a camera. I experience each scene alongside my characters, watching what they do, hearing what they say, and observing the world unfold around them.

Shifter: Inversion

Shifter: Inversion is a blend of sci-fi, humour, and action, but at its heart it explores what it means to be human and how being thrust into perilous situations can change lives forever. I have plans to continue Shifter as a series of independent adventures.

Message in a Bottle is a romance thriller with a supernatural element. It draws heavily on the endless internal struggle with good versus evil. By no means is it a boy-meets-girl story. Oh, no, it goes much deeper than that.
